The RSCCD Workplace Learning Resource Center offers customized assessments that provide task analysis, literacy audits, skills assessments, job profiling, and pre-employment workskills audits in a curriculum designed to fit your needs. 

Each of these assessments can provide a path to improve the participant's ability to perform basic job skills.

Work Keys® and Key Train™ provide essential training and assessment in a wide array of job related skills.  WorkKeys® can provide a job profiling service that identifies and assesses what skills and skill levels are needed to perform a particular type of job.

By taking WorkKeys® assessments in one or more critical skill areas, you can:

• Document and credential employability skills gained in training or on the job.
• Identify your personal educational interests and training needs.
• Explore career paths that use skills you already have.
• Target future training needs.

Assessments are approximately 40 to 80 minutes long, and include a post-assessment appointment for interpretation of results within 48 hours if necessary. 

With each skill, you will receive a summary of your aptitude, a suggested plan for your next steps, and a formal summary page that can be included with job resumés and cover letters. 

Upon completion of three WorkKeys® tests - Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information, you will recieve a
National Career Readiness Certificate.

Scores are valid for a minimum of two years, and the tests can be re-taken, as your skill level improves.
